SUMC PIPE ORGAN

In 1963, a Casavant Freres Ltee (Opus 2714) was installed and commissioned for use in the sanctuary. It has 45 ranks. 2,419 pipes. 4 divisions. 3 manuals. 32 stops. 33 registers

In 1987, a 61-note unit Trumpet stop was added available on the Great at 8', Pedal at 8', Positiv at 8' & 4' and a tremulant added to the Positive.

Adult Choir: rehearsals are Sunday mornings at 9:00am. The choir offers regular anthems, cantatas, and other special music. 

During the summer months, we enjoy "Concerts on the Lawn" which include a variety of artists and styles of music/worship offered.

At Christmastime, we enjoy singing for the town Lighting of the Christmas Tree and caroling through Swarthmore Borough.

Our Music and Worship Arts are under the direction of Matthew J. English.

Broadway Worship: This year, we are excited to expand our music ministry to include a Broadway musical (and musical selections) with a spiritual and religious themes. People of all ages, voice types, and experience are invited to join. More information to come...
